The Department of Computer Science at Eastern Kentucky University has two openings for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level commencing August 2020. A Ph.D. or ABD in Computer Science or a related field is required. The degree must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited and recognized institution. Preference for one position will be given to candidates with a specialty in computer game design, computer graphics, or computer vision. Preference for the other position will be given to candidates with a specialty in digital forensics, cyber security, artificial intelligence, or data science. We expect each successful candidate to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, service, and continued scholarly activity. The candidates will teach various service, undergraduate and graduate level courses, seminars, and workshops offered by the department, both on campus and online.
