The Account Representative is a core and proactive member of the Rockwell Automation team who advises customers and assesses their needs through outbound calls, webinars, emails and digital/social connections. They connect their business insights with a customer's desired outcomes. Their efforts create demand for Rockwell Automation products and solutions, leading to incremental sales growth at their assigned customers.
* Conducts independent research and combines their business and customer insights with additional insights from the Rockwell Automation and our Distributor Partner extended selling teams. * Develops a deep understanding of the customer's organization and the industry, connecting insights to current and future opportunities for growth. * Builds relationships within the customer and advises customer on latest Industry and Automation trends.
Customer Experience Focus:
* Communicates regularly with the customer to insure a positive customer experience, including understanding customer's business drivers, proactively identifying customer issues for resolution, and initiating necessary communications and process improvements to resolve customers' issues and achieve their desired outcomes.
* Conducts the planning and engagement activities with the Rockwell Automation team to drive customer success and contribute to sales goal attainment by Account Managers and our Distributor Partners. * Qualifies customer opportunities, engages the appropriate resources and shares insights into what may most impact the customer's decision process.
* Establishes a cadence with the Rockwell Automation team to measure progress, share information and make adjustments to execution priorities to maximize sales outcome. * Leads the resources for customer engagements by acting as a project manager in pursuits including Win Strategy and timely proposal delivery. * Ensures resource alignment with their assigned customers' goals through continuous interface with both the Rockwell Automation and distributor teams. * Collaborates with Rockwell Automation's marketing organization to deliver relevant content to key customer account contacts and amplifies promotional efforts at the customer. * Coordinates with the extended Rockwell Automation team to demonstrate a proof of concept aligned with an identified customer business outcome and with Rockwell Automation's solution execution strategy.
