Loyola School seeks a passionate, mission-driven, and talented individual who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and analysis of a comprehensive, strategic, and integrated annual giving program to include: face-to-face and phone solicitations, direct mail fundraising, online fundraising, appeal segmentation, donor research and cultivation, gift acknowledgement, and stewardship.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work effectively with the VP for Advancement to determine annual giving goals, to develop a compelling case for support, and to create strategies to achieve or surpass these goals.
Develop a yearly plan and calendar of all Annual Fund solicitations and activities.
Strategically plan and execute campaigns, initiatives, and communications specific to all of Loyola’s Annual Fund giving efforts.
Research and create prospect pools with annual goals for personal visits and giving outcomes for the President, VP for Advancement, Annual Fund Director, and other members of the Advancement Office Team.
Work effectively with the VP for Advancement to gain strong participation in annual giving and build strategies for moving donors to higher giving levels.
Develop and manage specific parent, student, and alumni volunteer committees to support annual fund initiatives (Parent/Alumni Ambassadors, phonathon callers, Senior Gift Fund captains).
Plan, supervise, and coordinate all annual giving and donor relations programs including, but not limited to, Phonathon, First Appeal process, faculty-staff campaigns, and Senior Class Gift campaign.
Collaborate with the President and VP for Advancement on all Capital, Major Gift, and Planned Giving efforts.
Collaborate and supervise Advancement Office data analyst through the process of putting together the Annual Report of Donors.
Plan, supervise, and coordinate fundraising and donor cultivation events, including President’s Annual Reception, Major Donor Cocktail Reception for current parents, and Major Donor Prospect Reception for Alumni and Parents of Alumni.
Willingness to assist and participate in all Advancement Office projects.
Some evening and limited weekend activities, as required to support office activities. Very limited travel requirements.
Other Qualifications/Skills required:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of five years of successful and progressive experience in annual giving, preferably in an academic setting.
Interest in all aspects of education and a dedication to promoting the school’s fundraising priorities.
Outstanding work ethic and a demonstrated orientation to meeting goals.
Superior organizational and project management skills, with great attention to detail.
Strong writing and research skills.
Strong computer skills, specifically Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
