Manage assigned graduate program enrollment including recruitment and admission. Manage relationships with academic programs, key constituents, and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain an informational, active communication system with prospective students to promote Augsburg University.
Read, interpret, and evaluate students' academic credentials to assist in identifying and counseling qualified candidates.
Manage/develop advertising/marketing budget/plan that supports programs for which this role manages recruitment. Collaborate with marketing department to assess efficacy of advertising/marketing efforts on a regular basis (i.e. monthly or per term).
Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students in a designated market; manage a recruitment territory of diverse populations; develop recruitment strategies; coordinate travel with admissions teams to recruit for multiple graduate programs.
Collaborate with academic departments regarding program improvement.
Create/maintain annual schedule of recruitment, admission, and marketing processes for assigned programs.
ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Manage marketing and communication projects. Create and update PowerPoint, web site and communication flow for each of the assigned graduate programs. Track web behavior to measure efficacy of design of pages and web ads.
Support Enrollment Leadership in analyzing needs to create an inquiry pool to meet or exceed targeted recruitment goals.
Provide full range of customer service for prospective students, individually or via your reporting staff. Train staff following best practices for this size and type of institution.
Research historical enrollment data, market factors and program cost data to forecast enrollment, propose tuition rate and financial aid/discounting adjustments.
Monitor operations processes so that they are student centered. Explore improvements. Make policy recommendations to AVP.
Represent admissions at GAAC, GAC or other committees on campus when assigned.

Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
Minimum of two (2) years experience at the Admissions Counselor level or above.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Typical work environment is an office. Working at a desk for long periods of time. Regular phone, computer keyboard, mouse and monitor use. Repetitive arm, hand, finger motions. Occasional intense work environment as it relates to emotional reactions from students and/or parents.
