The PGY2 pharmacy informatics resident will have an opportunity to learn across the continuum of care in an environment which places the care and improvement of human life above all else. Graduates of this residency program will be equipped to improve patient outcomes through the application of pharmacy informatics principles, standards, and best practices. This includes effective decision support for the interdisciplinary healthcare teams, as well as promoting the safe and effective utilization of technology and automation systems for pharmacy operations. The resident will be involved in planning, development, education, implementation, and technical support for all members of the healthcare team.
