Associate Veterinarian

Russell Veterinary Hospital, P.C. in Russell, PA, is looking for an associate veterinarian (position is primarily small animal but large animal and exotic work is optionally available) to join our quickly expanding AAHA-certified practice. Our full-service hospitals operate out of 2 locations separated by approximately 20 minutes. One facility is in Russell, PA (Russell Veterinary Hospital) and our second is in Jamestown, NY (Lakeside Veterinary Medicine) We are currently a 3-doctor practice, and are excited to have either a new graduate or an experienced veterinarian join our team. Our Dr’s have over 50 years of combined experience and are happy too assist new graduates as they enter our exciting profession. Ownership opportunities are available for interested professionals. The ideal candidate would be hard working and eager to learn in order to support our growing practice. Great client communication and high-quality medicine are very important to us. We have a very experienced staff that are extremely compassionate, hard working and good team players. They are easy to work with and will be very supportive of a new doctor! Our facilities are both equipped with full in-house laboratories, digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, electrocautery units, in-house pharmacy, a complete range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries and full-service dentistry.  Due to our substantive distance from specialty referral practices, our experienced Dr’s handle challenging medical, surgical and dental cases and are happy to teach all of these techniques to interested associates. Our Russell, PA location also has haul-in facilities to support an equine wellness program and a Dairy Production Medicine component of our practice. Northwestern PA/Southwestern NY is a beautiful area to live and raise a family with affordable housing and terrific schools. There are many outdoor activities available year around. We are very close to Chautauqua Lake which provides numerous activities for your entire family including fishing, boating and swimming. We are also close to the Allegeny National Forest with abundant hiking trails and camping opportunities.
