Remarkable progressive privately-owned small animal practice in a pastoral setting on 25 acres in Conyers, Georgia. Kids love the cows! Our practice is named Budget Vet because we create treatment plans that fit within our clients’ budgets. We have a wide variety of case mix and budgets. We get great satisfaction in seeing the joy on our clients' faces when they realize they can afford to properly care for their pets. We are family and we take care of each other. We care more about the clients and their pets than we do about the bottom line. Conyers is 24 miles east of Atlanta. One reviewer said, “The Conyers community is like one big family. The people are always willing to help out. Even though Conyers it’s self is not big the people have a big heart.” Another says, ‘’Ilove how Conyers is very family friendly. It's a diverse city with many stores, restaurants, parks, and great schools.”
Our owner, Dr. Lois Lassiter, is a great detective and has a reputation for getting to the bottom of complicated cases when others can’t. She calls herself a ‘medical nerd’ still after 23 years in practice. She is always learning and teaching and is a big fan of VIN. She can do general and specialty medicine at affordable prices. She does high-level surgery including some orthopedics. She is a willing mentor and teacher and she values family and work-life balance.
