Pacific Northwest Practice Opportunity Starting Summer 2020 Are you looking for a busy surgical practice with a well established practice track? This offer is for a personable, board certified/board eligible ophthalmologist with excellent surgical and people skills who would anticipate becoming an owner physician after a two year employment period. Employment years would be salary with production bonus. Benefits include relocation stipend, health insurance benefits, 401k, malpractice insurance, continuing education and vacation. This is a partnership track opportunity with an established buy-in process, the details of which will gladly be shared with any serious candidate. Consider moving to the wonderful and wild southern Oregon coast. We have a very busy general ophthalmology practice with more surgery than we can handle. Our community offers a family-oriented and rural lifestyle that allows time to enjoy activities you and your family will love. Whether it’s paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, whale watching, or hiking, fishing , hunting, camping, golfing or enjoying the largest dunes in the USA, there’s something for virtually everyone. Known as Oregon’s Bay Area, we are home to several music festivals, live theatre, local wine/art walks, farmer’s market, breweries/distilleries, art/food festivals, museums and Southwestern Oregon Community College. Some favorites such as the Prefontaine Memorial Run in September and the highly awarded Bandon Dunes Golf Resort just 30 minutes to the south are destination activities. Bay Eye Clinic has been a staple of the community since 1970. We serve patients all along the south coast of Oregon from Florence to Brookings. Our physicians are assisted by our highly trained certified ophthalmic assistants along with certified contact lens technicians and certified opticians at the adjoining optical shop with lab. Our optical lab is the only one in Coos County where glasses are made on-site. Nextech Intellechart Pro is the EHR system that integrates with our state of the art equipment including two Heidelberg Spectralis OCTs, Lenstar, IOL Master, digital fundus photography, Humphrey VF, and topography and B-scan. We have a laser room for performing Diode/Argon, SLT and YAG lasers as well as a designated procedure room (for minor cases) with a Zeiss operating microscope. This opportunity is an opening that is available due to the recent retirement of an owner physician. One can expect to be very busy from the outset. It offers the prospect of performing 400+ cataract surgeries annually, in addition to other ophthalmic procedures. Someone with subspecialty interest would be a plus.
