In its continued commitment to positive global change, TCS Education System seeks Global Academic Innovation Specialist to support new academic offerings tailored specifically to international students, including online and on ground micro-credentials and inbound study abroad. The Specialist will work with faculty and instructional designers to translate international partner needs into academic programs. The specialist will also serve as a project manager for these programs, supporting the administrative components critical to their success.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interpret international partner needs as a driver for cohort generating articulation agreements and inbound study abroad, including cross-disciplinary opportunities.
Set and achieve targets across five schools for cohort and inbound study abroad opportunities.
Produce regular reports outlining progress towards goals.
Provide administrative support for all micro-credential and inbound study abroad programs including enrollment, budget management, and marketing.
Monitor and recommend strategies to respond to trends in the market and ensure that TCS colleges are consistently well positioned to attract international students.
A fundamental belief in the mission of TCS Education System.
A passion for internationalization in higher education and a proven record of accomplishment in the space.
Instructional design experience, and experience working with faculty.
Strong project management and budget management skills
Demonstrated experience working in a geographically distributed, matrix organization and a refined ability to lead through influence.
A love of the field of higher education and an innovative and entrepreneurial sprit.
An entrepreneurial and innovative disposition, that allows for the creation of new ideas in parallel to driving to achieve existing goals.
An ability to travel and flexibility to account for meetings across many time zones.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years working international higher education.
Instructional design experience
Ability to perform sedentary work
Ability to operate office equipment including computer, printers, and phone
Ability to travel, 2-3 international trips per year
