Department Name: 3CM00:Medical Center Physical Plant
Under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager I, Facilities Management Medical Center, this position will provide the Medical Center with professional in-house coordination and management of all aspects of renovations and construction projects between $0 and $600,000. Responsibilities to include project scope and budget, funding documents, hiring of professional design engineers and architects, managing estimating and bidding, hiring contractors, scheduling and over-site of the renovation projects, as well as project close out. This position will also be responsible to ensure all federal, state, local and Medical Center codes and laws are adhered to. Project Managers handle many projects at many different stages at one time, adhere to stringent schedules, processes and procedures and play a lead role in the construction division.
