Chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry with Graduate residents during surgery. Seat, prepare and position patients for treatment for Graduate Endodontic residents. Perform recall appointments for patients with digital radiographs. Order dental supplies. Prepare instruments for sterilization and fill file boxes. Follow current infection control standards pertaining to OSHA guidelines and patient confidentiality requirements to HIPAA.
Associates degree in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution or minimum two years of dental assisting experience. Experience using four-handed dentistry. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, faculty, residents and staff at all times. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player with the ability to multitask. Excellent attendance and punctuality record. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
One year of Endodontics experience
CDA or RDA
