Job Description Summary
Academic Technology & Planning (AT&P), a unit within Provost Administrative Affairs, manages integrated planning, implementation, and support of academic technologies, with a focus on educational and faculty affairs technology. AT&P is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the team focused on the implementation, integration, and support of systems related to faculty, specifically Workday, Banner, and Interfolio. Responsibilities include to review, analyze, support, and evaluate information systems, academic/business processes and needs; plan and implement organizational change management programs and activities; perform and participate in the analysis, design, planning, and implementation of systems following requirement gathering and analysis; develop user/technical documentation and training materials; evaluate information gathered from multiple sources; reconcile conflicts; decompose high-level information into details; interpret low-level and specific information to a general understanding, and translate user requests and feedback about enhancements and improvement initiatives to software systems into business requirement specification documents. Document and track issues, action items, user requirements, and deliverables in the context of project management. This is a two year term position.

A Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience in IT applications and/or business process analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent project management and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies are highly desirable. Basic SQL or other programming skills;Â experience with Workday, Interfolio and/or Banner preferred; experience working in Higher Education preferred.
