Middlebury College seeks a Marketing Director to advance the interests of its graduate school, the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS). This position coordinates a distributed team of cross-functional marketing specialists and support staff evaluating and informing the use of marketing and communications strategies for MIIS master's degrees and programs supporting admissions, enrollment, advancement, academic schools, centers, and initiatives. The Marketing Director understands the competitive market environment for undergraduate and graduate degrees and non-degree programs to inform marketing strategies and promotions. Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience required. Master's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in higher education marketing or alumni fundraising preferred; having lived, worked, or studied outside the United States desirable. Must have a global perspective and an entrepreneurial desire to seize opportunities; proactive in identifying trends and future opportunities; experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with teams and individuals that are dispersed geographically and that report to different individuals; and experience with Salesforce CRM software, Pardot Marketing Automation software, Google Analytics, Drupal 11, business/data analysis, project management, and Excel pivot tables.
