The Program Coordinator will plan and implement programs, projects and events for the Office of Academic Affairs and Outreach and Engagement in coordination with the Program Director for Programs and Partnerships for Outreach and Engagement. Manage day-to-day operations of the unit’s programs and events; including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and logistics. Facilitate vendor/speaker relations including, scheduling, payment, and service contracts; arranging food and beverage, ordering all supplies, materials, decorations; coordinating audiovisual equipment and operation; and securing travel and lodging arrangements. Utilize an event management program for events that includes management of budget, timelines, production, securing venues and vendors, on-site production and event wrap up. Serve as a resource for the Office of Academic Affairs to for securing meeting rooms and event locations for special events and activities.
Bachelor’s degree; experience in event planning and/or project management; experience working with and contributing to diverse learning environments; excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects at a time; ability to work across various university entities.
Target Salary: $52,000.00 - $53,000.00 Annually
