Women’s & Breast Imaging The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Women’s & Breast Imaging. The responsibilities of this position will consist of, but are not limited to, patient care, research, and training of graduate and postgraduate students, all related to integrated multi-modality Breast Imaging. This includes conference presentations, tutorial sessions and formal lectures, both within and outside of the Department. The position offers excellent opportunities for advancement in all facets of Breast Imaging, supported by the outstanding resources in the 155-person Department, including its world-class Laboratory for Augmented Intelligence in Imaging. Our imaging facilities are designated ACR “Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence”. We provide digital screening and diagnostic mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and a full biopsy service, with stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided biopsies. Our on-site medical team includes radiologists, surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists who are dedicated to the integrative detection and treatment of breast disease. The OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute is one of the few Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States designated by the National Cancer Institute; and boasts a nationally ranked cancer hospital. The OSUCCC-James includes a state-of-the-art comprehensive breast center with services such as: screening and diagnostic imaging; medical; surgical and radiation oncology; microsurgical breast reconstruction; access to the latest clinical trials; chemotherapy suites; a lymphedema clinic; oncology rehabilitation; pharmacy; and nutritional and psychological counseling. Education, training, experience: M.D. or D.O. degree and successful completion of Fellowship in Breast Imaging. Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Candidates must have strong technical expertise, the ability to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and willingness to participate in research and/or teaching.
