Responsible for the operational management and continued stability, reliability and standardization of the Microsoft desktop environment consisting of 20,000+ workstations and 50,000+ user accounts. Responsible for workstation administration, software package development and deployment using available tools. Administers Active Directory , Group Policy, infrastructure and management applications. Provides 3rd tier escalation support for the service desk, field support technicians, and application analysts. Works with application support teams and business customers to ensure expeditious delivery of assigned tasks and projects. Monitors, tunes and diagnoses workstation images and resolves operating system problems. Develops and implements system administration automation. What You Bring/Job Requirements 5 years progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure or support. 2 years in a Desktop Administration capacity. 1 years experience managing Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy. Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Operating Systems. Working knowledge of Operating System deployment tools: Microsoft Remote Installation Services (RIS), File Replication Service (FRS),Virtualization Technologies (i.e. Citrix or VMWare), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and Operating System Deployment technologies. Proficient in writing scripts using VBScript or Powershell targeting Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, SCCM, WMI and Exchange. Working knowledge of information security principals. Exceptional computer software/hardware troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Strong customer service and communication skills.
