SENIOR STAFF WRITER , MIT Open Learning (2 openings), to write articles--under minimal supervision--on a variety of emerging technology topics while ensuring a consistent style, voice, and quality matching MIT Horizon requirements. Will independently build and manage relationships with subject matter experts including MIT faculty members and senior executives at large companies; write original articles on a variety of emerging technology topics; collaborate with subject matter experts from academia and industry; participate in and support production of online live events and podcasts; work with the rest of the editorial team to revise and improve drafts and with the creative director and those in content support roles (e.g., illustration, photography) to produce MIT Horizon articles; and ensure that articles meet MIT Horizon quality and voice standards.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in a related field; three years of relevant experience, including with science and technology writing; excellent writing, research, and interviewing skills; and experience writing digital content.
