The coordinator uses technology to collect, analyze, and report on data for use in strategic planning, development of an outcome assessment plan, market analysis, service improvement, and telling CCPD’s story to external and internal constituents.
The coordinator will establish and maintain relationships with key internal partners; continuously improve knowledge of Handshake, Banner, Canvas, Office 365, Qualtrics, and other relevant technologies; benchmark national trends with regards to use of technology in career services and incorporate them at UMW as appropriate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences
Experience collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
Experience presenting data analysis in written reports and presenting results to non-technical audiences
Experience creating and managing web-based data analysis systems, building and managing dynamic websites (technically and aesthetically), assessing program outcomes, and creating reports
Experience maintaining social media platforms
Experience supporting, developing, and implementation of multimedia marketing plans
Experience developing and managing excel spreadsheets, and manipulating and reporting data through the use of data analysis tools like pivot tables
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences
Experience with Handshake, Qualtrics, Power BI, Canvas, Banner, Office 365 tools, and others
Previous experience in strategic data initiatives and business intelligence
Experience working with internal and external vendors to seek advice, procure equipment or software, coordinate technical support, and resolving access problems
Experience working in Higher Education and specifically with career services
