Working with faculty and subject matter experts to create online/blended course material.
Working with Blackboard Learn, Canvas, and LearnDash Learning Management Systems.
Develop course material using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
Using tools such as WebEx, Kaltura, and Echo360.
Proficiency with media creation and editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Understanding of the technical requirements for creating accessible content.
Ability to manage and complete projects within desired timelines.
Maintain up-to‐date knowledge of emerging instructional technologies.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation.
Customer‐service orientation, attention to detail, and creativity in problem solving.
Bachelor's in Education, Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, Curriculum, Instruction or other related field and one (1) year experience; experience must include online/blended course design, curriculum development, faculty development or other related area. Must be proficient in various technologies used in the instructional/graphic design and assessment process such as Learning Management Systems (Blackboard) and include some knowledge of website design, Flash, Java Script, MS office suite, social media networking.
Experience with course development tools, online educational technologies, digital video, audio, graphics, and learning objects, including Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
Previous higher education teaching experience, either face-to-face or online.
Advanced understanding of learning theories and instructional methods specific to the higher education environment.
Experience with standards for online instructional excellence, online learning best practices, Quality Matters standards, faculty support and training strategies, and overall project management for meeting course production timelines and deadlines.
