Established, growing Equine Sports Medicine Practice in Loveland, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian with strong lameness, diagnostic imaging, sports injury rehabilitation and complementary therapy knowledge, to grow with us.

Because a large component of our practice is complementary medicine utilizing chiropractic,massage, acupuncture, and laser therapy to aid in injury rehabilitation, the successful candidate will have a strong interest and belief in these modalities.
Caseload includes: Complementary therapies, lameness, injury rehabilitation, and occasional Veterinary Relief Services for first opinion equine practices. We work with other veterinarians to provide temporary relief work and we serve as a veterinarian at the Steamboat Springs PRCA Rodeo (some minimal cattle work required- training will be provided).
Equipment includes: Digital X-Ray, Digital Ultrasound, IRAP/PRP, Pro-Stride system, Neo-Vet 2.0 Shockwave, Rapid Release Technology, Class 4 Laser.
Medical Record Software is cloud based eVetPractice
Practice cell-phone, laptop and hot-spot provided.
Vehicle with stocked vet box and automobile insurance is provided. Excellent driving record required.

Must have completed 1 year general practice internship with strong lameness and diagnostic imaging component.
Acupuncture and chiropractic certification desired, but not required. If not possessed, must be obtain these certifications within 6 months of starting and be mentored by Dr. Marshall.
Must be willing to travel (away from home base 2-3 days at a time) and work well with other Veterinarians.
Must be a team player and a great communicator.
Must be eligible to obtain CO and WY veterinary licenses and USDA accreditation.
A background check and on-site interview required.
Additional Salary Information: Salary will be competitive, based on experience. Benefits include: stipend toward Continuing Education, AVMA, AAEP, AVCA (if applicable) membership dues. CO and WY license fees and Long Term Disability insurance. Paid time off consists of 10 business days the first 12 months plus national holidays and sick days. We do not do on call rotations, however may respond to a rare emergency if a client in good standing’s primary vet is unavailable.
