JOBSUMMARY:
Performs administrative professional work coordinating projects and activities between various divisions, departments, public agencies, and private sector representatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Supports, maintains, and updates the Airport Security Program (ASP), policies, and security related documents to ensure compliance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1500 series, Security Directives, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
•Ensures daily compliance with airport security regulations. Performs assessments, investigations, training, audits assigned and initiates corrective actions.
•Assists with daily monitoring of security systems and programs to ensure continue compliance with CFR requirements and ASP.
•Reviews and process security badge applicants in accordance with ASP, local and federal regulations and TSA directives.
•Works with Transportation Security Administration (TSA), federal and local law enforcement agencies, airport tenants and stakeholders to ensure a secure environment.
•Plans and conducts annual Aviation Security (AVSEC) Contingency Plan Exercise.
•Prepares reports and presentations on project progress and results. |
