| Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Large Animal Veterinary Associate for a mixed animal practice located just north of downtown Los Angeles in beautiful Agua Dulce, California. We are looking for a dedicated DVM to join our excellent team of doctors and support staff. Strong dental interest welcomed. Our ideal candidate would be self-motivated and appreciate practicing in a fast-paced environment. We are not looking for a person to fill a job; we are looking for a long term member to join our team. We have an exceptional staff to work with and a substantial clientele base. The associate will have the use of a fully stocked truck. The new associate will have access to digital radiography, ultrasound, and Therapeutic laser. Associates will utilize computerized medical records. We are seeking a candidate who is team-oriented, has superb communication skills, and has a desire to provide excellent customer service and patient care. Experienced or new graduates will be considered and a willingness to see ruminants would be beneficial. The associate will see a wide variety of cases including preventive health care, lameness, neonatal and breeding cases, sick horses and emergency cases. The associate will have the opportunity to grow the business and focus on their area of interest due to our diverse caseload. Emergency duties are shared by associates on a rotating schedule. Salary is commensurate with the level of experience.
