| Pomona Animal Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our team full-time. Pomona Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital located in Pomona, NY. We have 2 sister hospitals nearby, which make up the Rockland Veterinary Group. We are fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, tonometry, laser surgery, 6 certified veterinary technicians, as well as access to board certified cardiologists and surgeons. Our mission is to provide the most up to date veterinary medicine, procedures, and protocols set forth by the AVMA and AAHA. We also work closely with shelters and rescue organizations in and around Rockland County. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, is compassionate, comfortable working independently, and a team player. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients is extremely important to us. For this reason we not only have many long term clients, we have many long term support staff and doctors. Two years of experience in general practice is preferred, but new graduates might be considered. No overnight emergency or on-call shifts are required.
