Join the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and be a part of an innovative organization creating different, fun experiences in the Ravenswood Community. The GRCC seeks an experienced full-time Project Coordinator. This position reports to the Associate Director and leads efforts to attract customers to the neighborhood and build a stronger sense of community, by hosting community events in partnership with local businesses and by supporting neighborhood marketing initiatives. Because some of the events this position manages will require evening and weekend hours, the Chamber offers a flexible work schedule.
The ideal candidate has graphic design experience and outwardly friendly and warm personality. This person will need to offer customer service, answer questions, and have previous knowledge of the Ravenswood community.
Experience with Constant Contact and managing monthly submissions for newsletters
Experience with Wordpress and social media expertise
Managing our general inbox
Answer the phone/door
Introduce the Chamber to new businesses
Administration our community branding identity
Assist in the planning and weekly execution of the Farmers Market
Bioswale Organization and Clean Up
Other duties as assigned

Must be able to move and set up event equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
