FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Business Management in the Koppelman School of Business at Brooklyn College, CUNY seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a number of different areas of management and marketing commencing spring semester 2020. The Koppelman School is proud of their recent accreditation by AACSB international in May 2019. Brooklyn College has recently been lauded in numerous media for the quality and value of its undergraduate education and for its number 1 position in the northeast for diversity on campus. Applicants should be eager to engage with our fabulous students from every corner of the world. We are proud of our reputation for accelerating social mobility in Brooklyn and NYC at large and expect that the right candidates will be similarly enthusiastic. Adjunct instructors typically teach 1 – 3 courses a semester.
The Department of Business Management is the largest in the Koppelman School and has 22 full-time faculty currently augmented by 11 substitute faculty. The Department offers courses in both micro and macro management topics, marketing, operations management, MIS, statistics, and data analytics. FOR ADJUNCT LECTURER:
Master's Degree in business or a discipline closely related to the subject of the courses to be taught.
-Ability to teach successfully
Minimum of 5 years substantive, practical work experience and continued strong engagement in managerial practice in for profit or not for profit enterprise with demonstrated ability to teach successfully
FOR ADJUNCT ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE, OR FULL PROFESSOR:
ABD status in a doctoral program in business or field related to the courses to be taught and the ability to teach successfully
Ph.D. in business or field related to the courses to be taught with record of scholarship and successful teaching experience
Compensation is commensurate with experience and education. All appointments are subject to financial availability.
