What You'll Be Doing - The role will work as a part of the site engineering group and will be required to perform a variety of tasks in support of the operation, including but not limited to the following: - Participate in and/or lead teams in support of optimizing plant processes for quality, cost, reliability and productivity.
- Develop, execute and manage small capital projects.
- Identify, evaluate and make recommendations regarding new process technologies.
- Provide process engineering support to the plant to lead efforts associated with new product and process commercialization.
- Coordinate and lead plant trials associated with all the aforementioned areas.
- Provide technical oversight to the ongoing development and improvement of the site's manufacturing process data network.

- Minimum of 18 months of related experience in a process industry or chemical industry. Will consider PDP experience.
- Proven project management skills.
- Experience in the use of SAP for the purpose of the development and management of BOM's, routs and capacity modeling/planning is desired.
- Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting process control systems, e.g. DCS, PLC's.
- Experience with Emerson Delta V control systems and OSI PI is strongly desired.
- The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to establish effective relationships quickly. He or she should have experience in working as part of a team and a strong technical aptitude.
- Candidate must possess strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Candidate must display initiative, have a strong drive for results and be able to work with minimal supervision.
