Drew University seeks a highly qualified and professionally experienced individual to serve as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College.
The successful candidate will provide administrative, budgetary and secretarial support to the Dean and Associate Deans of the College and help manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the office. Responsibilities include:
meeting coordination and support
budget tracking and financial reconciliations
event planning and support
organizing student award ceremonies
providing support to the Committee on Faculty
overseeing student workers
other administrative duties as needed
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a position of comparable responsibility. The person in this position must have excellent interpersonal skills as they will interact regularly with faculty, staff, students, parents, other senior administrative offices, and individuals from outside the university. Strong writing, research, project management and organizational skills are essential, as is keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word are also critical.
