Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications for the position of Clinical Director, Center for Implant, Esthetic and Innovative Dentistry (CIEID). Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be appointed on either clinical track or tenure at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor in the Department of Prosthodontics. The Clinical Director of the CIEID will be expected to demonstrate leadership within the CIEID and will report to the Director(s) of the CIEID and the Chair, Department of Prosthodontics. Within the CIEID, responsibilities will include oversight and management of the clinical enterprise and center staff, the patient treatment program, predoctoral and postdocoral education management and a strong commitment to the Center's research enterprise with a focus on developing collaboration within and beyond the dental school. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to contemporary and innovative teaching and patient care, with experience in all aspects of digital workflow options. Applicants should possess an ability to work within a team environment, leadership capabilities, experience in all aspects of patient care associated with dental implants (restorative and surgical), a national or international reputation for excellence with regard to implant dentistry, documented success in developing strategic initiatives and evidence of a strong record of scholarship.

Position Requirements: (1) DDS/DMD or equivalent, as well as (2) completion of an advanced education program in Prosthodontics (3) and/or Periodontics and/or Oral Surgery. In addition, (4) must have experience in management and oversight of restorative and surgical phases of implant-based patient care and 5) be eligible for full dental licensure in the State of Indiana.
Certification or documented eligibility for specialty board certification is preferred.
