The Lead Librarian for the Digital and Open Scholarship team focuses on developing services that support new modes of scholarship and supports the creation and distribution of open content. As Lead Librarian, they will supervise 3-5 other librarians and work closely with the Head of Collections and Research Services as well as three other Lead Librarians to coordinate activities of larger Department of Research and Collection Services (DRS).
They will serve as the librarian to the Humanities departments based in the College of Arts & Sciences ensuring that the Libraries’ collections and services support the academic and research needs of students and faculty in that unit. The Lead Librarian provides essential services, including research assistance, information literacy instruction, and collection development, and serves as the Libraries’ point of contact for science faculty, students, and staff.
