Position Overview In partnership with ACOFP staff, lead the overall logistical management and execution for two annual conventions, workshops, courses and staff and committee meetings. Responsibilities include identifying ACOFP meeting and event needs, researching locations, negotiating contracts, selecting and managing multiple vendors and establishing project plans and schedules. This role will also help support ACOFP's Foundation, CME accreditation processes and grants. For success in this role we seek a candidate that is highly self-motivated, professional, positive, capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Manage and coordinate all logistics for ACOFP meetings and events throughout the year, including Board of Governors meetings, Annual Convention, Congress of Delegates, staff meetings and workshops
- Develop the detailed staff and convention event schedules along with the associated programming and appropriate members and staff.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare RFPs and specs and negotiate all meeting contracts.
- Develop and manage meeting and event budgets, reconcile expenses and obtain appropriate approval.
- In partnership with exhibit sales consultant and Director of Communications & Engagement, develop, manage and implement exhibit floor plan, revenue, sales, communications and logistics.
- Oversee and manage relationships with event contractors.
- Manage office shipment of materials to/from meetings.
- Manage meeting and event evaluations to include the preparation and distribution of all final reports.
- Support ACOFP's CME accreditation processes.
- Support the development and implementation of ACOFP grants.
- Manage ACOFP Foundation events and other meeting support that may be needed.
