Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital is a 215 licensed-bed acute care hospital offering a full range of medical services. We are seeking an inpatient pharmacy operations manager that will apply clinical and leadership skills in an academic setting to oversee central pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, technology oversight, medication safety, technician and pharmacist training and development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, the inpatient pharmacy operations manager will assist the director of pharmacy with monthly operational metrics, dashboards, benchmarking, and financial variance reporting.
Academic opportunities include precepting students from local colleges of pharmacy and residents from our PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency programs.
We are seeking an applicant with an interest in project management, medication safety, and innovation, to be part of our pharmacy leadership team.

Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy Required, PharmD Preferred; + Registered with Texas State Board of Pharmacy; If licensure by reciprocity, must obtain Texas license within the first 90 days of employment.
ACPE IV Sterile Certification required
Masters degree preferred (MBA, MS, etc.)
PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacy Residency preferred
2 years pharmacy experience required
2 years pharmacy management experience required
