This position will work closely with the Relational Leadership Institute (RLI) Project Manager and RLM Director to coordinate the delivery of the RLM program activities related to the RLI course and its evaluation study. The research study includes both process and outcomes measures that are linked directly to the program content and educational methods. As part of the comprehensive evaluation study plan, the Coordinator will manage all quantitative data collection and data management activities related to the specific research aims of the RLM program and assist with a rapid-cycle improvement process to refine and adapt the curriculum using best evidence from evaluation findings.
The Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating all aspects of the RLI intensive course and all post-course related activities.
The Coordinator will work both independently and collaboratively as part of the RLM team. Due to the iterative and dynamic nature of RLM programming and evaluation study, this position requires a high degree of flexibility, including a flexible schedule, and ability to take initiative on and follow through on a wide range of tasks.
Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in related field AND one to three years of relevant professional experience
Experience with coordinating events such as courses, seminars, or conferences
Strong research skills for: data management, data collection methods, strategic thinking
Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and performing complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proven ability to manage time effectively, especially with competing priorities
Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to related well to people from a diverse range of backgrounds
Ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, problem-solving skills
Comfort with ambiguity
Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite
Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed
3 years of relevant professional experience in an academic medical center/higher education setting
1-2 years of experience supporting a program in an academic or health care setting
1-2 years experience with quantitative methods of data collection
2 years of event coordination experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of project management applications, such as Smartsheet
Knowledge of data collection tools, such as Lime Survey or Qualtrics
