A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Psychology or a closely-related field; OR
Four or more years of technical or staff level experience assisting in planning and carrying out various management improvement or program operations studies in at least on of the areas a) through h) listed below
Two years of experience performing management improvement studies in areas such as:
a) organizational analysis; b) systems and procedures analysis (manual or ADP); c) records management analysis; d) space utilization studies; e) work measurement or work simplification studies; f) cost benefit analysis; g) budget analysis; h) other related efficiency research or program operations review studies
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
Knowledge of LEAN process improvement tools and must be able to teach tools and techniques within Campus Services; Working knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and project management tools; Working knowledge of change management methodologies and techniques; Familiarity with Oracle.
1. Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products including: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook,Visio and Powerpoint.
2. Must have excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal.
3. Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be able to balance multiple projects and responsibilities effectively.
5. Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Must be collaborative in resolving problems and have a customer-focused attitude.
