Position Summary The scope of the position is responsible for management of the planning, facilitating, leading and completing of Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement projects to support product cost reduction, operational productivity, delivery, quality, and new project introduction objectives of the company. This position is a key role in the company's efforts to improve Rockwell Automation's systemic improvement capabilities and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The primary focus will be to work directly with individuals and teams to lead and execute the Lean Six Sigma improvement methodology on product cost reduction projects, business process improvement projects, and strategic implementation projects to achieve product cost reductions, streamlined standardized business processes and strategic plans to satisfy our customers, shareholders and employees expectations. Essential Functions: Work with all functional teams, such as Product Management, Design Engineering, and Strategic Sourcing to lead projects to reduce costs and achieve schedules through design processes, vendor selection, part localization, benchmarking etc. Able to influence with or without authority and have a strong sense of urgency. Be able to manage ambiguity and data to find cost reduction opportunities, define feasibility expectations, and execute to a timely predictable plan. Lead cross functional teams to implementation / leverage of best practices across the company to ensure process improvements are institutionalized throughout the business. Use experience and strategic methods such as Hoshin and strategic deployment to identify, prioritize, and execute business process changes. Cultivate the improvement of product designs and product development processes through the application of Lean Six Sigma. Drive and challenge process owners in the use of statistical tools; approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop a Lean Six Sigma mindset at all levels. Works on significant and unique business process where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Lead the change mgmt activities to achieve and sustain results Exercises independent judgment in methods and techniques and evaluates criteria to obtain results. Positively lead teams and organizations through change. Communicate effectively to teams and leadership to ensure support for resources and buy-in for change Complexity: -
