Event Management Plans and executes program events including Admitted Students Open House (Ph.D. and Ed.L.D.), Commencement Celebration Events, and Ph.D. Orientation
Oversees event planning (in consultation with the Assistant Director) for the Ed.L.D. Network Convening, managing invitation, venue, and catering logistics, providing day-of staffing and administrative support, and collecting and processing reimbursements
Project Management
Provides staffing and administrative support for Ph.D. admissions including preparing applications, scheduling and attending committee meetings, coordinating prospective student interviews, and responding to inquiries from prospective Ph.D. applicants and newly-admitted students. Provide day of support on Ed.L.D Admission Interview Days, collecting and processing reimbursements for prospective students
Collects and analyzes job and location data from Ed.L.D. program alumni, organizing the information into a summary report for distribution to program colleagues, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and the Dean's Office
Administers the Ed.M. Student Conference fund, soliciting and accepting applications, managing the selection process (in consultation with the Associate Director) and processing grant awards
Provides logistical support for the Ed.M. Intellectual Contribution Award, managing nominations, designing certificates, and processing award payments
Communications Manages communication for the Ed.L.D., Ed.D./Ph.D. programs, including monitoring program-specific email accounts, maintaining listservs, creating and distributing biweekly newsletters, and managing and updating relevant program websites
Administration Provides general administrative support for the Degree Programs suite such as supply orders, catering requests, room reservations, meeting scheduling, and materials preparation
Serves as source of general information for all students, providing referrals to colleagues within the Degree Programs suite and other HGSE administrative offices.
