THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThe Research Data Analyst coordinates, gathers, analyzes, and interprets research data across multiple projects in the Collaborative START laboratory. Designs, builds, and manage databases, Creates, disseminates, and analyzes datasets used in projects within the Collaborative START lab and with collaborators at other institutions. Provides research administration and coordination support to lab directors, project managers, and project coordinators. Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related area or equivalent experience or training
Experience interacting with and collecting sensitive information from clinical research subjects and maintaining confidentiality
Experience using R for data manipulation and data analysis, including creation of graphs, using R to communicate with external data sources, and generalized linear modeling
Experience or training in working with data management tools such as relational databases (ACCESS, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) and/or spreadsheets (EXCEL)
Experience with data capture systems (data entry) and data retrieval (data querying)
Strong data management and experience in accurately developing and maintaining electronic files. Experience preparing reports including graphs, tables, and/or descriptive narratives Experience with various computer platforms (e.g., Mac OS, Linux, Windows)
Experience with cross-site coordination and collaboration on data related tasks
Excellent oral and written skills
Thorough knowledge of IRB process
Familiarity with common clinical behavior assessments and scoring techniques measures (e.g., Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Mullen Scales of Early Learning, Expressive One Word Picture Vocabulary Test, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, etc)
Experience working with a great deal of flexibility and in an organized manner in a fast-paced working environment
