The Development team of major gift and annual gift officers cultivates prospective donors, both nationally and internationally, to inspire transformational gifts in support of Berkeley Haas and provides staff support for high-level volunteer groups, such as the Berkeley Haas Advisory Board and the Dean's Advisory Circle. With 41,000 living alumni, the Alumni Relations team develops and builds greater awareness for career services, lifelong learning, and networking resources to support the engagement, learning, and connectedness of Berkeley Haas alumni. Responsibilities The Director of Information Strategy and Analytics position is a key management team position within the Haas School of Business Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) group. This position informs Development and Alumni Relations strategy through data analysis and serves as the department's lead in tools, reporting, and systems related to constituent engagement and fundraising data. This position requires a technical leader, skilled project manager, proactive problem-solver, and an outward-facing individual, who can work collaboratively to build consensus across departments. This position works closely with leadership in Haas Technology Solutions, Haas Finance, and University Advancement Operations to develop analytical insights, implement new tools, ensure information sharing, and create mechanisms for data integration across systems. The Director establishes the strategic direction for the Information Strategy and Analytics team, oversees reporting and analysis, gift and fund management, and donor acknowledgements, and implements tools and systems that support alumni relations and fundraising. This position reports to the Executive Director, Strategic Campaigns and Operations, and manages the Information Strategy and Analytics team of four direct reports. Leads the Information Strategy, and Analytics team, ensuring prioritization of projects and achievement of goals and deliverables.
Consults with department leaders and process owners to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements for highly-complex business intelligence solutions and analytics.
Applies advanced skills to produce in-depth forecasts, complex reports, data sets, and recommendations to support and enhance fundraising and alumni relations processes.
Conducts industry benchmarking analysis to identify best practices and fundraising performance or capability gaps.
Analyzes and troubleshoots highly-complex data errors and problems, designing, testing, and applying advanced functional solutions.
Evaluates data sources for relevance, integrity and accuracy. Identifies issues and collaborates on solutions to data management challenges.
Leads committees and participates on cross-functional teams to solve complex business, process, service and / or systems issues.

Salary & Benefits This is an exempt, monthly paid position. Annual salary is commensurate with experience within the range of $83,900.00 - $139,000.00.
