Advertised Job Summary:
Maintains and monitor a planned and corrective maintenance program for the University. To include domestic water, cross connection, and sanitary drainage systems by receiving work orders; communicating with coworkers, supervisor, manager. Ensure that all work performed follows the departmental and OSHA safety guidelines, policies, and regulations.
Assists with the coordination of the installation of new and modified plumbing systems including but not limited to reading blueprints, schematics, or drawings; consulting with University Project Managers, contractors, and sub-contractors about new construction plans based on USC standards and to provide information on existing plumbing systems that may be affected during a project.
This is a Safety-Sensitive or Security-Sensitive position, incumbents will be subject to pre-employment and post-employment drug testing in accordance with University policy HR 1.95 Drug and Alcohol Testing.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
High school graduate and 5 years experience in the management of commercial maintenance and repair services relating to plumbing systems.
Valid driver's license required.
