Teaching courses in Professional Writing including introductory, advanced, and graduate courses, advising and mentoring students. Maintain an active scholarly program in Rhetorical studies. Participate in department and college-wide committees and other forms of service. Demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice, Demonstrate a passion for teaching and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and with differing skill levels.

- Specialization in genre, digital rhetorics, cultural rhetorics, materiality, or related sub-field - Teaching interests and background in scientific or public policy writing, rhetorical code studies, grant writing, or other related areas encouraged, as well as ability to teach across a wide variety of technologies and familiarity with publishing software such as InDesign. - Experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds
