the Research Program Coordinator (Research and Education) has duties and responsibilities related to the Child Neurologist Career Development (CNCDP) K-12 program within the Kennedy Krieger Institute. The Research Program Coordinator must display professionalism, communicate effectively with others, and function as an effective team member.
Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for all administrative activities of the CNCDP-K12 program.
Aggregate application materials from Scholar candidates and distribute to Steering, Executive and NAC members as appropriate (letters of intents and full applications).
Manage and update materials from existing Scholars (bios, presentations) and Mentors.
Maintain and update the CNCDP website information at the direction of the Steering and Executive Committees.
Maintain and update the CNCDP information brochure.
Coordinate the off-site annual retreat to include serving as liaison with hotel for reservations and conference room set-ups, as well as materials required at retreat and coordinating WebEx teleconferences.
Provide remote administrative support to the Steering, Executive and NAC members, to include scheduling conference calls, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating information exchange and consensus between the various members.
Coordinate the electronic Dropbox activities, including electronic filing of documents (Scholar applications, retreat forms, meeting minutes).
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5 years of related experience required.
Experience in training programs and/or pediatric settings preferred.
Familiarity with academic medicine is preferred.
