The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Operations Team is responsible for information and educational technology, land resources, facilities, capital planning, safety, and policy. Under the supervision of both the Director of Agricultural Operations and the Director of CFAES Facilities and Capital Planning, the Agricultural Operations and Facilities Administrative Associate works as part of a comprehensive administrative team in conjunction with the Lead Administrative Associate for Operations. Provides a wide variety of administrative support, project coordination, and fiscal and communications support related to projects and initiatives of the Operations team. Specific duties include: Coordinating ag operations and facilities projects and performing associated administrative duties to track project progress and ensure applicable deadlines are met. Collect, summarize and prioritize requests from managers. Serve as the primary point of contact answering department phone and greeting visitors; calendar management, meeting coordination/scheduling, preparation of briefings, assisting with preparing and developing meeting content and presentation materials. Attend meetings on behalf of the Directors when they are not available (i.e. Wooster Campus Administrative Cabinet, Operations Cabinet, Advisory Committees, etc.) Assist in the development, annual review, and revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Maintain and edit digital content of the department website. Provide support for the Outlying Research Stations Advisory Committees including scheduling and logistics for meetings including distributing agendas and meeting minutes. Responsible ordering supplies and services as needed. Initiate fiscal transactions as needed. Arrange travel and organize reimbursements for Directors and other staff. Occasionally serves as back up to fiscal associates and/or assists with fiscal work during peak periods.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years working in a professional environment with experience in administrative support, project coordination, and/or finance; demonstrated experience with on-line meeting environments (i.e. Skype for Business, Zoom, etc.); proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Pro; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with college and university policies and procedures for purchasing, branding, travel, and other administrative activities; awareness and knowledge of agricultural/natural resources issues, terminology and concepts.
Target Salary: $50,004.00 - $55,008.00 Annually
