The STEP Program Coordinator provides administrative support for the Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP). Reconciles student STEP Fellowship expenses based on approved budgets and STEP Fellowship requirements. Monitors student receipts for compliance with STEP Fellowship requirements and university policy to ensure fiscal accountability for university fund expenditures. Maintains records of student receipt ledgers and expense reports. Coaches students through the receipting process. Corresponds with students concerning missing information and/or expense discrepancies. Addresses and bills students for missing receipts. Reconciles Faculty Mentor incentive expenses. Submits and reviews eRequests accordingly. Collaborates with other university departments and offices as needed. Evaluates STEP Reflection requirements for students. Assists in updating and streamlining student reflection processes and platform. Assists in communicating with students concerning reflection requirements and feedback on written work. Assists in the creation and revision of general STEP materials, policies, and learning opportunities for students. Collaborates with STEP Leadership Team to target training needs for students concerning post-project requirements. Addresses knowledge and process gaps through design and implementation of learning materials and in-person educational workshops. Communicates with STEP Signature Project Consultants to ensure students are fulfilling project requirements and expectations. Corresponds with students as needed according to consultant feedback. Performs other duties and special assignments as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service. Proficient in key office software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Project management skills.
Master’s degree preferred. Experience in higher education setting/academic environment preferred.
Target Salary: $19.23 - $21.64 Hourly
