Reporting to the VP-Enterprise Accounts, Auto & Tire, the OEM Manufacturing & Assembly (M&A) Segment Manager, will work in close association with other senior executives of the business worldwide ensuring that M&A OEM Solutions' strategies are in line with overall corporate objectives. Selling digitalization, integrated architecture, and services and solutions into M&A Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and builders, the M&A Segment Manager will assure the continued growth rate of the M&A OEM Solutions business within the Automotive & Tire (Auto & Tire) industry. The M&A Segment Manager will help identify further growth opportunities with the existing customer base as well as identify trends and opportunities that are necessary to increase Rockwell's M&A market share in the Auto & Tire industry.
The M&A Segment Manager, will be responsible for increasing Rockwell's market share, analyzing the segment to identify trends and opportunities, constructing a global account plan, and managing a group of M&A Regional Segment Managers and associated Sales staff assigned within the Auto & Tire industry. In this capacity, the M&A Segment Manager will be responsible for delivering sales growth through a defined disciplined sales process, leveraging the full capabilities of Rockwell's business units, sales organization and channel partners as appropriate. The M&A Segment Manager will collaborate with Rockwell's Regional Management to develop the best approach for building M&A market share in the Auto & Tire industry within a matrix environment and coordinate across the ecosystem and engage end user community. Additionally, the M&A Segment Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing those accounts that have a global presence and operations in multiple geographies.
Manage global sales efforts for the Global M&A OEM Solutions within the Auto & Tire industry. Ensure account strategies and global bid teams deliver market solutions to new and existing customers. Ensure alignment of strategies with the business units. Implement best-in-class sales processes to drive results. Ensure all account planning and metrics are done on a regular basis in support of the company's strategies. Front log management and reporting is integral to this process.
Ensure growth in Global M&A OEM Auto & Tire industry client base through expanding existing relationships including the C-level leveraging multiple buying influences within worldwide M&A OEM companies. Ensure strategies are developed with OEM's, Enterprise & Strategic Accounts that support the strategies for the Global M&A OEM segment.
Lead the identification and selection of Global M&A OEM Definition of Winning (DoW) targets to support M&A and Auto & Tire industry growth initiatives. Collaboratively work with region leadership and business units to establish conversion and/or growth plans for DoW target list, and be accountable for growth.
Assess the existing Business Development/Sales team against the skill sets required to drive the organization forward. Identify, attract and retain appropriate resources to execute the sales strategy. Create and maintain excitement and high energy across the entire sales team.
Drive the performance of the Business Development/Sales team against well communicated goals.
Provide direction and leadership to support the following activities: advertising, trade shows, key customer meetings, sales training conferences, distributor conferences, Business Strategy Reviews and Annual Operating Plans.
