Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track, faculty position to serve in the administrative and clinical role as a Practice Leader in the Pre-doctoral Patient Treatment Center within the Department of General Dentistry.
The School's Pre-doctoral Patient Treatment Center is comprised of nine Group Practices each led by two Group Practice Leaders (GPL). GPL's are tasked with broad responsibilities for the management of their respective practices, which are comprised of approximately 14 third-year and 21 fourth-year Pre-doctoral students. The position requires close collaboration with General Supervising Faculty, dental assistants and associated practice management staff. The role also requires collaboration for referrals and consultations on complex cases with faculty in the School's Advanced Education programs.
Specific responsibilities include: Managing the Group Practice patient pool including student patient assignments; overall monitoring of patient care and student progress; mentoring and advising students with respect to treatment planning; evaluating and contributing to outcomes assessment metrics for students; attending rounds at beginning of each clinic session; serving as a professional role model for students, colleagues and patients; promoting diversity and inclusion while promulgating a high standard of professional and ethical behavior in an environment that is respectful, collegial, and conducive to providing the best possible teaching and patient care.

DDS/DMD degree (or equivalent)
International applicants must present with a minimum of a 1-year post-graduate residency training from a U.S. accredited school
Applicants must be eligible for full or limited dental licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Experience in CAD/CAM and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
Prior teaching experience
Advanced training in restorative dentistry, either in AEGD, GPR or Prosthodontics.
Training in CAD/CAM and Cone Beam Computed Tomography
