University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join Department of Design and Construction. The Program coordinates activities and functions of Design and Construction to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. The Program Coordinator will manage and provide direction, training, and guidance to others in the correct use and operation of the Project Management software system. This position provides an essential role in the successful and efficient operation of all design and construction responsibilities.

Develop and maintain databases used to collect and analyze data, track expenditures and maintain budgets, as well as to monitor and evaluate program operating policies and procedures.
Coordinate activities of the department with inter-related activities of other programs, departments or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications and oversees a variety of and professional activities related to the efficient day-to-day operations of Design and Construction.
Maintain the project management software system.
Responsible for the management of all project related data including the preparation of periodic reports, financial statements and records on program activities, financial and performance progress tracking, or other special reports for management or outside agencies. Review and enter data related to project funding, requisitions, project details, and invoice processing, and maintains process workflows.
Produce and edit the regular publication of summary project performance reports. Maintain the filing of project documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors in related field.*
Experience: One (1) year administrative/coordinator program experience. Preferably in the design and construction industry.

Hiring Range: Low $40K to $50K - Commensurate with education and experience
