Responsibilities will include conducting pre-clinical research studies in molecular oncology. This position offers the opportunity for a talented scientist to work with competitive cancer research team.
Perform experiments in vitro and in vivo (80%)
Prepare abstract, manuscript for publication and written reports of research and grant proposals (20%)
PhD degree in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related field with previous experience in Cancer Research
Strong understanding of scientific concepts and experience in translational research and biomarker development; experience in translational medicine is preferred.
Ability to work effectively on multiple oncology programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques, transient and stable transfection, cell counting and viability assays, qPCR, WB, Multiplex ELISA/PCR are expected. Prior experience in mice studies is required.
Prior experience on exosomes, digital PCR, tumor biomarker studies
Experience in grant writing
Excellent communication skills
Strong technical writing ability and publication record
