Reporting to the Director of Campus Communications and working closely with colleagues in the Office of University Communications as well as communications professionals across the campus, the University Content Manager helps implement the University's communications and public relations strategies using a variety of communications channels and platforms. The Manager will make contributions in many areas, including work in campus communications, media relations and community relations; and will take direction from the leaders of those functions for those projects.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience writing for digital media. Experience writing media releases and working with media outlets. Experience with digital publishing platforms such as Wordpress. Success working in a deadline-driven environment.
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, new media or journalism.
