CallisonRTKL seeks an Interior Designer with extensive project management experience to join its Workplace practice area located in Washington, D.C. The position is focused on managing Workplace interiors projects. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, detailed-oriented, and a self-starting individual driven to succeed.

Plans, coordinates and manages the project process for Workplace Interiors projects
Manages client expectations, team communications and consultant coordination
Serves as the main contributor during client meetings and presentations
Participates in interviews for projects
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
Responsible for financial management of all assigned projects
Develops proposals, project financial plans and schedules
Supports business development and marketing efforts
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design
9+ years of related design and/or architecture experience, with a focus in workplace projects
Experience with Revit
SketchUp, Enscape, Affinity or Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
Ability to produce and direct work
Strong technical background that includes design sense with interiors projects
Solid working knowledge of building codes
Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple project efforts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with clients and employees
Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
Experience with contract negotiations and project financial planning and scheduling
Professional registration preferred
LEED accreditation preferred
