As one of the first opportunities to connect with the University community, the Parking Services Coordinator will provide quality customer service for students, faculty, staff, guests and visitors. The Parking Services Coordinator provides administrative functions and assists in overseeing day-to-day activities of the Parking Services Office. This position is responsible for records maintenance and document preparation. Assists the Program Manager with the development of procedures for administrative activities including assisting in the supervision of office staff to achieve maximum productivity, resolve customer complaints and technical complaints and assists in identifying customer service trends. Enter data into management software, analyze data and serve as a system administrator for parking management system. Ability to utilize data-entry, various forms of office software and learn new software and operating systems in a timely manner. This individual will assist in ensuring business operation objectives are met and must also have the ability to maintain sensitive and/or confidential information. To work effectively, this individual must be a multi-tasker with the ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focus or attention to detail; responsible for a smooth flow of work processes at the office, leading to motivating a team of staff to ensure they're giving the best customer service possible. Ensure top performance of office staff by providing adequate coaching and guidance. This person may be responsible for system administration, data analysis, and project management.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree, 1 to 2 years of related job experience, strong administrative skills. Advanced computer skills and experience working with computer applications, such as MS Office suite and data management spreadsheets. Understanding of standard business practices associated with processing payments and collecting data. Exceptional customer services skills and the ability to problem solve by reasoning analytically.
