The Global Process Standards and Engineering Team has responsibility to develop and drive best practices, processes, procedures and standard application deliverables within the Systems and Solutions Business (SSB) process business globally. Subject matter expertise is required in project management organization and discipline in order to be effective owning and driving and reporting on internal global programs, productivity projects, as well as global readiness and use of tools and standards.
The Global Engineering Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing and controlling multiple internal projects to drive excellence in our process project business. Communication is critical in being able to influence team members and management across the organization to drive global priorities. Global travel may be required to support key initiatives and interface with regional teams.
Responsible for complete Project Management lifecycle on assigned projects: definition, requirements, life cycle, roadmap, priorities, and roll-out
Collaborates across Global Execution Teams, Business and Industry Leads to capture requirements, identify gaps and establish action plans.
Report and monitor KPI's associated with assigned activities.
As required develops business cases required for process discipline AOP investments to support continued advancements and improvements.
Responsible for leading productivity projects and teams using Six Sigma methodology
Provide organization, oversight and leadership to global delivery teams to ensure key programs are executed and implemented consistently.
Obtain stakeholders buy-in on cross functional projects by effectively communicating global business objectives.
Drive change management through the scope of projects and ensure managers and supervisors understand the impact of process changes on their people.
Ensure training collateral and documentation are well defined and deployed as appropriate to support key initiatives.
Excellent collaborative skills and ability to effectively work in a team setting by possessing drive and energy to motivate and develop others (and him/herself).
Must be able to deal with ambiguity, resolve conflict, handle organizational politics, and multiple stakeholder objectives to achieve results.
Demonstrated problem solving skills to determine root causes of process/ business system issues.
Ability to listen and provide solutions without direction to complex project requirements
Multi-task oriented, capable of supporting and implementing multiple projects at once while maintaining systems and support for mature business responsibilities.
Capable of representing Rockwell project business with external vendors, customers, and business partners.
Standards and Process oriented mindset expected to successfully drive quality and consistency into their work and the outputs performed by others.
Manage global or regionally distributed virtual and culturally diverse project teams and resources in a matrix environment.
Must possess personal commitment to excellence in every aspect of the business with an uncompromising stance on ethics and transparency, internally and externally
